Bowman and Young post strong showings for Green and Gold

Boston, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women's indoor track & field team returned to action this afternoon as the Falcons competed in the 2019 David Henry Valentines Invitational, hoisted by Boston University.

How It Happened

Junior Brianna Young (Mansfield, Mass.) notched a MASCAC qualifying toss of 10.56 meters in the shot put with a 31st place finish, while sophomore Kambrynn Bowman (Norton, Mass.) added a post-season qualifying time of 2:29.21 in the 800 meter as select members competed at the 2019 David Henry Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University this weekend.
