Woolley Selected MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete Of The Week

Malden, Mass. native collects first weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior Annie Woolley was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Woolley collects her first weekly accolade on the year after breaking both the MASCAC and Alliance Championship Meet record in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.32 seconds to capture the 2017 MASCAC/Alliance Championship in the 100 meter hurdles at the 2017 MASCAC/Alliance Championships, hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday. With that time, Annie currently ranks fourth nationally in the event.

The Fitchburg State women's outdoor track team returns to action this weekend as select members compete in the 2017 DIII New England Championships, hosted by Williams College, starting on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.
