Kelly Named MASCAC Women’s Cross Country Co-Rookie Of The Week
Stoughton, Mass. native collects first weekly accolade of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior Amy Kelly (Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Co-Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office.
Kelly earns her first weekly honor of the season after placing fifth overall with a time of 20:48.74 over the 5K layout to lead the Falcons to a fourth place finish at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Alumni Invitational at the Doyle Conservation Center on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State women's cross country team returns to action on Saturday, September 16th as it competes in the 2017 Corsair Invitational, hosted by UMass Dartmouth for a meet starting at 11:15 AM.
