Kelly Selected MASCAC Women's Cross Country Rookie And Runner Of The Week

Stoughton, Mass. native collects third weekly honor of the season 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior Amy Kelly (Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton)  was recently selected  both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Rookie and Runner of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Kelly earns her third weekly accolade on the year after finishing 21tst overall with a time of 20:24.0 over the 5K layout to lead the Falcons to a sixth place finish at the 2017 Keene State College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The Fitchburg State women's cross country returns to action on Saturday, October 7th as it competes in the 2017 James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University for a meet starting at 11:15 a.m.
