Kelly Tabbed MASCAC WXC Runner Of The Week

Stoughton, Mass. native notches second weekly accolade of the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Amy Kelly Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The third-year Falcon receives her second weekly honor of the 2018 campaign afternoon after placing second overall at the 2018 Keene State Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning, turning in a time of 19:23.5 over the 5K layout as the Green and Gold finished fourth overall at the meet with 112 total points.

The Fitchburg State women's cross country team returns to action on Saturday, October 6th as the Falcons compete at both the 2018 James Early Memorial Invite, hosted by Westfield State (10:00 am) as well as competing at the 2018 All-New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston (11:00 am).
