Judy (Seguin) Haseltine - 1997 Inductee

Mrs. Haseltine was a three sport star during one of the school's most successful eras in women's sports. A four year basketball player, She led FSC to the Eastern Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (EAIAW) Basketball Championship in 1976, averaging 14 points and 10 rebounds per game. The Falcons finished 22-3 that season, their best record ever.

Twice in her three year track career she led the Falcon track team in scoring and was also a two-time captain. She competed under fellow inductee, Fred Miller, who was track coach at the time.

In 1973 helped FSC win the Mass. State Championship in volleyball. Mrs. Haseltine was a three year performer in volleyball.

Following her playing days, she coached the junior varsity volleyball team at Fitchburg State in 1997.

In 1994, the Alumni Association presented Mrs. Haseltine with the Miller Award as an outstanding alumnus.

Mrs. Haseltine has been a registered nurse for 21 years and is presently a full-time school nurse in Fitchburg. She is also a part-time Army Reservist with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. She and her husband Joe have a 15 year old daughter, Susan.
