Bio

Rick Terrio joins the Fitchburg State sidelines on a full-time basis after compiling an overall record of 40-38 (.513 pct.) through his five year, coaching career at the University. Throughout his tenure, Terrio has led the Falcons to three consecutive post-season playoff berths (2010-12), while coaching 19 All-Conference players, including the 2009 New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance (NEWLA) Rookie of the Year.

During the 2012 season, Terrio guided the Falcons back to the NEWLA playoffs, posting an overall record of 7-10 and a 5-3 mark in the conference. Over the course of the 2011 campaign, Terrio led  Fitchburg State to a program best 12 wins, naming five players to the NEWLA All-Conference team.

Prior to Fitchburg State, Terrio played a major role in shaping the North Middlesex Youth Lacrosse program, launching the boys division in 2000 and the girls division in 2002. In combination with being the Director of North Middlesex Girls Youth Lacrosse from 2002-07, Terrio also coached the in prestigious Bay State Games, compiling one gold medal, one silver medal and three bronze medals over the past six seasons.
