Richard Selected To DIII NFHCA All-Region Team

Leominster, Mass. native earns NFHCA New England West All-Region Second Team Honors

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Senior midfielder Molly Richard (Leominster, Mass.) was named to the 2018 Longstreth/NFHCA (National Field Hockey Coaches Association) Division III New England West All-Region Second Team as announced by the NFHCA this morning.

Ricard witnessed a stellar senior season for the Falcons, posting a team-best 30 points on 13 goals scored and four helpers as well as four game winners and one defensive saves in 20 contests for the Fitchburg State.

In addition to this national accolade, Molly was also named to the Little East Conference (LEC) Second Team earlier this month.

The Fitchburg State field hockey team recently concluded its 2018 campaign with an overall record of 10-10 and a 7-5 mark in conference play.
