Men's Soccer Season Outlook
The 2008 season is on the horizon for men's soccer and the outlook is very promising. In 2007, the Falcons just missed making conference playoffs and that certainly is a motivator pushing the Falcons to achieve that goal in 2008.
The team has a strong group of experienced players. In addition, the Falcons will be hosting 9 promising freshman and 2 transfers for preseason.
Captains Jude Connelly, Dave Tyler and Marco
Ferrara are being counted on to provide strong leadership
both on and off the field. The team is looking to achieve
some very good results based upon our returning players and the
incoming recruiting class.
"I am very excited to watch our program continue to improve and
grow," head coach Steve Naboicheck said. "It has been my
consistent prediction that 2008 will prove to be our most
successfully year yet. Our team members strive for excellence
both on the field and in the classroom. We believe the
results will justify all of our hard work. The support we
continue to enjoy from the college is fantastic. This program
is going nowhere but up!"
