Fitchburg State Competes At MIT Last Chance Qualifier

Sattiewhite places fifth in the high jump with mark of 1.93 meters 

Cambridge, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the 2018 MIT Last Chance Qualifier Meet this evening at the Henry G. Steinbrenner Track.

Senior Ben Sattiewhite (Salem, Mass.) finished fifth overall in the high jump with a mark of 1.93 meters to pave the way for the Green and Gold this evening as the senior high jumper awaits a possible bid into the 2018 NCAA DIII Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships next week.

The Fitchburg State men's outdoor track and field team returns to action on Wednesday, May 23rd as select member compete at the 2018 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, starting at 2:00 PM.
