Falcons Host Annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Alumni Invite
Movsessian paces Fitchburg State with eighth place time of 26:54
Fitchburg, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team hosted its annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Alumni Invitational this afternoon at the Doyle Conservation Center, placing fourth overall with 94 points.

How It Happened
Junior Jacob Movsessian (New Ipswich, N.H.) led the way for the Falcons with an eighth place time of 26:54 over the 8K course, while classmate Timothy Sheehy (Wakefield, R.I.) followed in ninth place with a time of 27:12.
Newcomer Samuel Flint (Methuen, Mass.) was next into the chute with time of 27:37 to finish 16th overall, while fellow freshman Matthew Catarius (Shrewsbury, Mass.) notched a time of 28:30 with a 27th place effort. Rounding out the top seven finishers for the Green and Gold were junior Joe Weston (Middleton, Mass.) (29:19), sophomore Trevor Fields (Shirley, Mass.) (29:24) and sophomore Nicholas Sachetta (Billerica, Mass.) (30:00) in 42nd, 43rd and 54th place respectively.

UMass Dartmouth won the 2019 Jim Sheehan Memorial Alumni Invitation with a total of 42 points.
