Miller Named MASCAC Women’s Lacrosse Co-Rookie Of The Week
Leominster, Mass. native earns first weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore attacker Bailey Miller was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Co-Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Miller posted seven points on six goals scored and one helper with ten ground balls, one draw control and one caused turnover in a 2-0 week for the Green and Gold. Bailey registered four points on three scores and one assists as well as six ground balls, one caused turnover and a draw control in a 21-10 win over Nichols College on Tuesday before adding three points on three markers to go along with four ground balls in a 16-15 triumph against Johnson and Wales on Thursday.
Fitchburg State (2-0, 0-0 MASCAC) returns to the action on Tuesday as it takes on Mount Holyoke College at the NTC Spring Games in Clermont, Florida for a contest starting at 11 a.m.
