Woolley Tabbed MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete Of The Week

Malden, Mass. native collects first weekly honor of the 2018 season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Senior Annie Woolley (Malden, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Woolley earns her first weekly accolade on the year placing second overall in the 100 meter hurdles with an Open New England qualifying time of 14.44 seconds for the Falcons at the 2018 Emory Classic on Saturday. With her time in the 100 meter hurdles, Annie currently holds the fastest time nationally in the event.

The Fitchburg State women's outdoor track & field team returns to action on Saturday, April 7th as the Falcons hosts their annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Alumni Invitational at Elliot Field, starting at 10:00 AM.
