Woolley Selected MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete Of The Week

Malden, Mass. native earns second weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Annie Woolley (Malden, Mass.) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The fourth-year Falcon collects her second weekly accolade of the season after taking top honors in the 100 meter hurdles with an Open New England qualifying time of 14.03 seconds to earn All-New England Honors at the 2018 DIII New England Championships, hosted by MIT over the weekend.

With her time in the 100 meter hurdles, Annie currently ranks first in the country among all DIII athletes in the event.

The Fitchburg State women's outdoor track & field team returns to action this weekend as select members compete in the 2018 Open New England Championships, hosted by Dartmouth College, starting on Friday at 2:00 PM.
