North Dartmouth, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team placed 23rd overall with a total of 633 points at the 43rd annual UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational this afternoon.

How It Happened
Freshman Abigail Murphy (Quincy, Mass.) paced Fitchburg State with a 57th place time of 20:03.22 over the 5K layout, while classmate Lilah McANdrew (Old Lyme, Conn.) followed with a time of 20:23.97.
Junior Olivia Mullins (Plaistow, N.H.) was next to enter the chute for the Green and Gold with a time of 20:54.73, while freshman Erin Maida (Danbury, Conn.) crossed the finish line at 23:34.70. Rounding out the top finishers for Fitchburg State were senior Vera Ziegler (24.38.86) and sophomore Regan Kelly (Wilbraham, Mass.) (25:27.73).

Fitchburg State placed 39th overall at last year's Corsair Invite with a total of 1,095 points.
Holy Cross won the 2019 Corsair Cross Country Invite with a total of 633 points
