Five Falcon Facts With Max Schiavone and Siobhan O'Connell
MAXWELL SCHIAVONE – SENIOR
Q: Why did you choose Fitchburg State University?
A: “This area felt like my hometown and I thought I could be here for four years and enjoy it.”
Q: What is your favorite sports besides football?
A: “I played baseball my whole life because my mom didn’t let me play football until the eighth grade. I played travel ball and all-stars, that was my sport growing up.”
Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
A: “Going to Falcon Friends. That’s something I do everyday and if I don’t I feel like my day is off. I also like to go to the gym, golf, and taking care of my dog, Thor.”
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: “It’s gotta be either Remember the Titans or the Gladiator.”
Q: If you could be an animal, which would you be and why?
A: “I’d definitely be a dog, 110%. Dogs have the life. If I could trade lives with my dog, I would.”
SIOBHAN O’CONNELL – JUNIOR
Q: What do you study at Fitchburg State University?
A: “Criminal Justice because I want to be like my mom one day. She is a police officer in Boston.”
Q: What’s your favorite sport besides soccer?
A: “Basketball, definitely.”
Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
A: “I like going on hikes and I spend a lot of time in the library. I also like to be with my friends.”
Q: What’s your favorite movie to watch?
A: “The Harry Potter series.”
Q: What song pumps you up before a game?
A: “She Will Be Loved by Maroon Five”
