Five Falcon Facts With Maddie Medina and Andrea Comeau

MADDIE MEDINA – SOPHOMORE

Q: Why did you choose Fitchburg State University?

A: “Mainly because of its criminal justice program. Also it was division three so I thought I could compete in two sports.”

Q: Why did you choose Criminal Justice?

A: “Criminal Justice, I just always had a passion for it. I don’t want to work inside of a cubicle I want to be in a place to go out and make a difference.”

Q: What is your favorite sport besides the two you play?

A: “Probably basketball. I used to play in high school. I was upset when I had to give it up but I could not play three sports in college.”

Q: Who is your favorite athlete

A: “I think I have to go with Dustin Pedroia.”

Q: If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and why?

A: “I think super speed because nobody would be able to throw me out.”

ANDREA COMEAU – SENIOR

Q: Why did you choose Fitchburg State University?

A: “My main reason was President Antonucci, honestly. He connected with college students and understood it’s a learning process.” 

Q: What do you study at the school?

A: “I study secondary education for math. I did it because I want to teach kids the aspect that math is not boring, it can actually be fun.”

Q: What’s your favorite movie

A: Breakfast Club, even though there is no point to it. I still love it.

Q: What song pumps you up before a game?

A: “Thunderstruck by AC/DC and the 300 Violin Orchestra. Those are the two main songs.”

Q: If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and why?

A: “I wish I could read minds. I’d love to know what everybody was thinking.
