Bio

Rebecca Shersnow joined the Fitchburg State College Athletic Department in September 2000.

Rebecca was previously the athletic trainer at North Middlesex Regional High School where she also worked as a substitute teacher (1999-00). Rebecca has also worked previously at Franklin Pierce University in 1999 as a part-time athletic trainer and Approved Clinical Instructor. She worked as a field hockey coach at Narraganset Regional High School (1995) and at Oyster River High School (1996-97).

Rebecca's educational background began at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she was a History major and member of the field hockey team. She then moved onto Castleton State College where she earned her B.S. in Physical Education (Athletic Training) in 1996. She pursued and earned her M.S. of Kinesiology (Sports Studies) at the University of New Hampshire in 1998.

Rebecca has worked many camps and clinics in the Northeast.  She previously served as FSC's initial CHAMPS/Life Skills Coordinator.  She has also been an NATA Certified Examiner.
