Fitchburg State Announces Departure of Head Football Coach

FITCHBURG–Fitchburg State University announced the resignation of head football coach Zach Shaw. Shaw joined the Falcons in 2023 and cited personal reasons for his departure.

“We appreciate the impact that Zach made on our football program and the culture he fostered among our student-athletes and coaches,” Fitchburg State Athletics Director Matt Burke said. “We wish him the best in the future.”
