2008-09:Led the Fitchburg State defense in 25 games last season. Aided the offense with three points (1 goal, 2 assists), while limiting opponents to only 2.81 goals per game. Click here for season statistics.

2007-08:Appeared in all 27 games for the Falcons. Paced the Falcons offense with ten assists. Posted one helper in a 5-1 victory over Suffolk University (2/9). Chipped in one dish in a 7-2 victory over Curry College in the ECAC Northeast Tournament (3/1). Click here for season statistics.

2006-07:Appeared in 23 games for the Falcons defense. Chipped in offensively with five points on two goals and three assists. Netted two power-play goals. Posted two assists in a 7-4 victory over Worcester State (12/7). Connected for his first collegiate goal in a 7-3 win over Assumption (2/1). Click here for season statistics.

High School:2006 graduate of Hudson High School. Two-sport standout in hockey and tennis. Earned Central Massachusetts All-Star honor in four straight seasons.

Personal: Born June 21, 1988 in Hudson, Mass. Son of Michael and Nancy Brecken. Majoring in Business with a concentration in Marketing. Member of the dean's list.
