Archambeault Tabbed MASCAC Ice Hockey Rookie Of The Week

Leominster Mass. native registers first weekly accolade of the 2021-22 campaign

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State sophomore forward Cole Archambeault (Leominster, Mass.) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

The first-year Falcon collected four points on two goals and two assists in a 3-0 week for the Green and Gold. Archambeult posted two assists in a 4-0 triumph against Plymouth State on Tuesday before netting his first collegiate tally in a 6-3 victory over Salem State on Thursday. Cole concluded the week by adding one helper in a 6-3 win against Westfield State on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (9-4-0, 7-2-0 MASCAC) returns to action tomorrow as they host the Rams of Framingham State in MASCAC action, starting at 3:30 PM.
