Worcester, Mass. – The Fitchburg State men's team fell to the Cougars of Clark University 3-0 in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at Granger Field.

How It Happened
The host notched a pair of goals in the first half. Senior Brian Brennan (Stoneham, Mass.) tipped in a cross from Anyolo Makatiani (Nairobi, Kenya) in the 28th minute. The Cougars doubled the score with four minutes remaining in the frame when Andrew Pimental (Coventry, RI) corralled a direct kick from Brennan and tucked the ball inside the short corner for the 2-0 lead.
The Falcons were outshot 19-1 in the opening 45 minutes, the lone shot coming off the boot of senior John Javaloyes (Mansfield, Mass.). Senior goaltender Sebastian Jaramillo (Dracut, Mass.) was busy in net turning away 7 shots.
The Falcons had a great opportunity early in the second half. Senior Gabriel Ramos (Chicopee, Mass.) laced a direct kick on goal that Caleb Rosenthal-Vincenti (Stony Brook, NY) turned away. Clark would add an insurance goal late in the game for the 3-0 final.
