Manyok Selected MASCAC MITK Rookie Of The Week

Lynn, Mass. native earns first weekly honor of the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State sophomore Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

The first year Falcon earns his first weekly accolade on the year after taking top honors in the 5000 meter with time of 15:47.17 to guide the Green and Gold to a fifth place finish at the 2022 Branwen Smith-King Invitational, hosted by Tufts University on Sunday.

The Fitchburg State Men's Indoor Track team returns to action on Saturday as they compete at the 2022 Bruce Lehane Scarlett & White Invitational, hosted by Boston University.
