Shimiyimana Selected To MASCAC All-Conference Team

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Eric Shimiyimana (Worcester, MA) was named to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field team as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

Shimiyimana collects his second All-Conference nod after placing first overall in the triple jump with a DIII New England qualifying 13.21 meters at the 2023-24 MASCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Westfield State on Saturday at Smith College.

Last week at the 2024 Panther Invitational II, Shimiyimana took second place in the triple jump with a season best mark of 13.53 meters.
