Falcons Place Second Overall At Jim Sheehan Invite

Fitchburg, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed second overall with a total of 50 points as the Falcons hosted its annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational this morning at the Doyle Conservation Center.

How It Happened
Junior Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) led the way for Fitchburg State with a first place time of 27:26.6, while freshman Michael Burns (Worcester, Mass.) added a time of 30:46.6 over the 8K layout after finishing 11th overall.
Senior Cameron Davis (Gardner, Mass.) followed in 14th with a time of 31:43.8, while sophomore Aidan Cattelan (West Hartford, Mass.) entered the chute with a time 20th place time of 33:05.7.
Senior Tyssen LaBombard (Shelburne, Falls, Mass.) (22nd) crossed the line at 33:16.9, while freshman Brady Madigan (Ayer, Mass.) was next at 30:33. Junior Angelo Pinto (Chaplin, Conn.) rounded out the top effort for the Falcons with an 8K time of 36:08.
