The Fitchburg State men's cross country team placed 13th at the Suffolk Invitational at Franklin Park on Saturday afternoon. The race included over 30 teams across NCAA Division I, III, and Community Colleges.

How It Happened                             

Junior Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) and Michael Burns (Worcester, Mass.) paced the Falcons finishing 41st and 60th, respectively. Manyok posted a time of 28:17 over the 8K course, while the rookie turned in a time of 29:15.

Senior Cameron Davis (Gardner, Mass.) crossed the chute at 30:04, just ahead of Aidan Cattelan (West Hartford, Conn.) at 30:27. Senior Tyssen LaBombard (Shelburne Falls, Mass.) rounded out the top 5 for the Falcons at 30:59.

Other Falcon Finishers: Angelo Pinto (Chaplin, Conn.), 31:45, and Brady Madigan (Ayer, Mass.), 33:56.

Boston University took the top spot with 17 points, while Plymouth State (82 points) and Suffolk (115 points) were second and third.
