Johnson Selected To 2022 NFCA DIII All-Region Third Team
Fitchburg, Mass. native collects second post season accolade
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State softball senior infielder Audrey Johnson (Fitchburg, Mass.) was recently selected to the 2022 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) DIII All-Region Third Team as announced by the NFCA on Monday afternoon.
Johnson batted .347 (44-for-121) with eight doubles, two triples, six home runs, 24 runs scored, 30 RBI, 13 walks and three stolen bases on the season, while becoming just the 12th Falcon to reach the 100 career hit milestone on April, 21, 2021.
For her efforts, Audrey was also selected to the 2022 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball All-Conference First Team.
The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's ten regions with selection to one of three teams with all honorees moving forward to be considered for selection to the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced on May 24th.
