McCarthy Collects MASCAC All-Conference Honors
Chicopee, Mass. native named to the All-Conference second team
FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Fitchburg State women's soccer team earned All-Conference honors earlier today as graduate forward Shannon McCarthy (Chicopee, Mass.) was named to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference second team as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.
The second-year Falcon earned her first all-conference selection after posting a team-leading 12 points on six goals scored, including her first collegiate tally on September 21, 2021 against New England College.
The Fitchburg State women's soccer team recently concluded its 2021 season with an overall record of 2-14-1 and a 2-4-1 clip in the MASCAC.
