Porter Earns MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week

FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State senior Ashley Porter (Upton, MA) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Offensive Player of the Week. 

Porter had her best game of the season this past weekend, netting the first two goals in a 4-1 victory over Framingham State. Of her two goals, one came as the game-winner and helped secure a spot for the Falcons in the MASCAC Tournament.

The Fitchburg State women's soccer team (3-10-4, 2-3-2 MASCAC) returns to action on Tuesday the 31st at 2 PM against Salem State in the MASCAC Quarterfinals.
