Women's Volleyball Season Ends at MCLA in MASCAC Quarterfinal

NORTH ADAMS, MA: Fitchburg State women's volleyball completed their season this evening with a loss to the Trailblazers of MCLA in the MASCAC Quarterfinal.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 11/7/23

- Score: MCLA 3, Fitchburg 1 (10-25, 22-25, 25-23, 9-25)

- Records: MCLA (19-4), Fitchburg (8-17)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  MCLA's offense and defense was paced by Chloie Garber, who had a match-high 15 kills, a match-high in aces with 12, and a match-high in digs with 15. Shannon O'Brien had a team-high 21 assists.

- The Falcons were led by Stephanie Sardella (Billerica, MA), who had eight kills along with an impressive 13 digs. Emily Gelinas (Westfield, MA) dished out 21 assists for Fitchburg in this one, while Jessica Greco (Southington, CT) topped the team in digs with 14.
