Women’s Cross Country Places Second At Jim Sheehan Invite
Goba finishes first overall with time of 20:50.1
Fitchburg, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team placed second overall with a total of 50 points as the Falcons hosted its annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational this morning at the Doyle Conservation Center.

How It Happened
Sophomore Skye Goba (Norton, MA) led the way for Fitchburg State with a first place time of 20:50.4, while freshman Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA) added a time of 23:53.0 over the 5K layout after finishing 13th overall.
Newcomer Julia Arena (Shrewsbury, MA) followed in with a solid time of 26:51.2, while sophomore Cassandra Israelson (Saugus, MA) crossed the line with a time of 27:16.6.
Sophomore Brynn Dobbs (Brewster, MA) was next, entering the chute at 29:20.7, while senior Erin Donelan (Fitchburg, MA) rounded out the top Falcons effort, posting a time of 34:15.8.
