Women’s Cross Country Race At Suffolk Invitational

Goba paved the way for Green and Gold with 42nd place time of 24:40.8

Boston, MA – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team competed at the 2023 Suffolk Invitational this afternoon at Franklin Park.

How It Happened

Sophomore Skye Goba (Norton, MA) paced the Falcons, placing 42nd overall with a time of 24:40.8 over the 6K course, while freshman Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA) followed with a time of 28:10.7

Senior Erin Donelan (Fitchburg, MA) was nest into the chute for the Green and Gold with a time 34:18.6 to close out the top efforts for the Falcons on the day.

Inside the Numbers

Colby won the 2023 Suffolk Invitational with a total of 62 points

Fransiscah Cherotich of American International won the 2023 Suffolk Invitational individual title, placing first with a time of 22:59.9
