MASCAC WXC All-Conference Team Announced

Goba selected to MASCAC WXC All-Conference Team

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State sophomore Skye Goba (Norton, MA) was named to the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country All-Conference team as announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

Skye led the Falcons to a fourth place finish at the 2023 MASCAC Women's Cross Country Championships after placing fourth overall with a time of 29:02.75 over the 5K layout at Willard Park on Friday afternoon.

Sophomore Naomi Cass of Bridgewater State was named the MASCAC Runner of the Year, Kate Buban of Framingham State were selected MASCAC Co-Rookies of the Year. Christine Kloiber of Bridgewater State was named the 2023 MASCAC WXC BSN Sports Coach of the Year as voted on by the coaches around the league.

Joining Goba, Cass and Buban on the MASCAC All-Conference team, were Nicole Major and Lily Valcovic of Bridgewater State and Shea Hamel, Julianne Kelly, Molly Kennedy, Ariann Lecours and Eliza Lee of Westfield State.
