Five Falcon Facts With Sam Brown and Andrew Mooney
SAM BROWN – SENIOR
Q: Why did you choose Fitchburg State University?
A: “When I came in the team was building the program from the ground up. I also liked the tight-knit athletic community here.”
Q: What do you study at the school?
A: “I major in Marketing and I minor in economics. I think it will be a good way to get into the financial world after graduation.”
Q: What is your favorite sport besides baseball?
A: “Hockey. I’m from Canada.”
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
A: “Bobby Orr because he changed the game of hockey.”
Q: If you could pick a superpower, what would it be and why?
A: “Teleportation so you can go anywhere you wanted at anytime.”
ANDREW MOONEY – JUNIOR
Q: Why did you choose Fitchburg State University?
A: “The team’s atmosphere was huge when I thought about coming in as a freshman. Also, the campus was nice and small. It was sorta’ everybody knows everybody.”
Q: What do you study at the school?
A: “Applied math with a minor in economics. Math always came the easiest for me in high school. Math and money go hand and hand.”
Q: What song pumps you up before games?
A: “The Stroke by Billy Squire”
Q: What’s your favorite show to binge-watch?
A: “Trailer Park Boys”
Q: If you could choose a super power, what would it be and why?
A: “I’d choose to be taller…no, I’d pick super strength so I’m stronger than all the bigger people."
