Amaral Garners MASCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week Honors
Tewksbury, Mass. native collects first weekly accolade of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior Brian Amaral was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
The third-year Falcon collects his first weekly honor of the season after placing first overall with a time of 26:13 over the 8K layout as Fitchburg State hosted its annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational at the Doyle Conservation Center on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State men's and women's cross country teams return to action on Saturday as they travel to Trinity College for a meet starting at 10:30 a.m.
