Emily Rejniak
2024 Inductee - 2010 & 2015 Graduate
Emily was a member of the Fitchburg State Women's Soccer and Women's Lacrosse teams. Throughout her soccer career, Emily ranked first in win (27) and third in games played (52). In addition to soccer, Emily played an instramental role in creating the Women's Lacrosse program. She was captain for all four years and on the interview committee that hired current head coach, Rick Terrio.
In lacrosse, Emily ranks first all-time in assists (95), third in points (200) and seventh in goals (105), all accomplished with just three years of NCAA eligiblity. In addition, Emily currently holds the record for fastest goal at the start of an NCAA division three games (six seconds). After her playing career, Emily served as an assistant coach for the lacrosse program, helping the team win a program best 14 games and four loses in the 2014-15 season.
After graduating in 2010, Emily went on to receive her masters degree in Engliah from Fitchburg State as well. She currently teaches Engliah at Wachusett Regional High School. She coached varsity lacrosse and JV soccer at Wachusett for many years before taking some time off to raise and coach her three young children. Sh currently resides in Holden, MA with her husband and children.
