Towle Selected MASCAC Baseball Rookie Of The Week

Westfield, Mass. native earns fourth weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman pitcher Ryan Towle (Westfield, Mass.) was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

The first-year Falcon collects his fourth weekly accolade on the year after posting an ERA of 0.00, allowing no runs on five hits with three strikeouts in seven innings of work in a no-decision in first round action of the 2018 MASCAC Baseball post-season tournament on Thursday.

The Fitchburg State baseball team recently concluded their 2018 season with an overall record of 13-17-2 and a 6-7-1 mark in conference play.
