Cordeau Tabbed MASCAC Player of the Week
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State outfielder Nicholas Cordeau (Melrose, Mass.) was tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
The fourth year Falcon batted .625 (5-for-8) with three RBI, three stolen bases, four walks, three hit-by-pitches with a .800 on-base percentage and a .625 slugging percentage in three games for the Falcons. Cordeau went 3-for-4 with two RBI a walk and stolen base in a 11-10 loss to the Vikings on Sunday afternoon.
The Fitchburg State baseball team returns to action on Saturday as it travels to Mass Maritime for a double header, starting at 12:00 PM.
