Previous College: Transfer student from Mount Ida College. One-year member of the football team.

High School: 2011 graduate of Tiverton High School. Member of both the football and baseball teams. Named to the Rhode Island All-Division III second team. Earned Newport Daily News All-County honors as well as Fall River Herald News honorary mention. Served as team captain during his senior season. 

Personal: Born June 18, 1994 in Tiverton, R.I. Son of Bob and Linda Ekstrom. Majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Fitness Management.
