Ludwig Named MASCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Fort Myers, Fla. native earns second weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior kicker Christopher Ludwig was tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) football Special Teams Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Sunday evening.
The third-year Falcon finished 3-for-4 on PAT attempts as well as connecting on a 26 yard field goal attempt, while punting five times for 183 yards (36.6) with two punts inside the 20 in Fitchburg State's 30-7 win over Plymouth State on Saturday afternoon.
Fitchburg State concluded its 2015 regular season with an overall record of 8-2 and a 6-2 mark in conference play on Saturday afternoon and awaits a possible bid into an ECAC bowl game with the selections being announce on Monday at noon.
