Fitchburg State Collects MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week

Fitchburg State, for the first time this season, earned the most votes in the MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week voting which features four top plays from the weekend's games.

Fitchburg State collected 54 percent of the votes to claim the week 7 award. Sitting in the second spot with 24 percent of the vote was Worcester State while Bridgewater State and Massachusetts Maritime had 16 and five percent, respectively. 

In this week's winning play, Fitchburg State QB Connor Fitzsimmons tosses a quick pass to teammate Taylor Ekstrom who weaves through defenders then races up the sideline for the 46 yard score.
