Monette Selected To All-Conference First Team

Winchendon, Mass. native earns first All-Conference accolade 

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior defensive lineman Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) was recently named to the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football All-Conference First-Team as announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

Monette collects his first All-Conference honor after ranking second on the team in tackles with 55, including 29 solo stops and 26 assisted tackles, while adding 4.5 sacks, 19.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two pass break ups and four blocked kicks. 

With those four blocked kicks, Cameron is currently one eight players leading the country in block kicks in all of NCAA Division III.
