Fitchburg State received two goals from freshman Jamie Kelley (Pepperell, Mass./North Middlesex) while junior Mari Roma (Foxborough, Mass./Foxborough) added one marker and one assist.

The Falcons got on the board early in the first half as Roma connected off a penalty corner. Senior Eleni Aidonidis (Winchendon, Mass./Saint Bernards) and freshman Hillary O'Kelly (E.Bridgewater, Mass./E. Bridgewater) set up Roma's first goal of the season with crisp passes off the corner, giving the Falcons an early 1-0 lead.

Fitchburg State broke the game open in the second half when Kelley scored her first goal of the game off a Falcon rebound. The rookie forward scooped up the loose ball in the front of the cage and showed dynamic stick control, registering her third goal of the year. Moments later, Kelly added her second goal of the game on a feed from junior Megan Jacobs (Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton) to secure the Falcons 3-0 victory.
