Falcons Name Pair To LEC All-Conference Teams
Richard and DeHorsey collect post season honors for the Green and Gold
Fitchburg, Mass. – Senior Molly Richard (Leominster, Mass./Saint Bernard's) and junior Aislinn DeHorsey (Leominster, Mass./Leominster) were selected to the Little East Conference (LEC) All-Conference teams this season as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
Richard led all Fitchburg State honorees after being named to the LEC All-Conference second team after collecting a team-leading 30 points on 13 markers and four assists as well as four game winning tallies and one defensive save in 20 games for the Green and Gold.
DeHorsey collected LEC All-Conference honorable mentions for the Falcons after registering 27 points on nine scores and nine helpers, while adding a conference best nine defensive saves in 20 appearances for the Falcons.
The Fitchburg State field hockey team recently concluded its 2018 campaign with an overall record of 10-10 and a 7-5 mark in conference play.
