Laperle Named To LEC All-Academic Team
Auburn, Mass. native earns LEC All-Academic Honor
Fitchburg, Mass. – Junior Sophia Laperle was recently named to the 2019 Little East Conference Fall All-Academic team as announced by the league office last week.
Members of the 2019 LEC All-Academic team must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher through the 2018 spring semester and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. The student-athlete must also be a full-time member of a varsity sport and be enrolled in its institution for a full academic year.
Laperle collects her second Little East Conference All-Academic selection after notching two points on one goal scored, while starting 17 of the Falcons 18 contests on the season.
The Fitchburg State field hockey team concluded its 2019 campaign with an overall record of 2-16 and a 1-12 mark in the LEC.
