Worcester, Mass. – Two goals from freshman Eliza Dutson propelled the WPI Engineers 2-0 past the visiting Falcons of Fitchburg State University on Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field.

How It Happened
On WPI's first corner of the game, junior Hannah Walters (Danielson, Conn.) made a defensive save off an initial shot from Samantha Robison (Bedford, Mass.). However, first year Eliza Dutson (Woodstock, Conn.) collected the rebound and deposited the ball in the back of the cage for the early 1-0 lead from the Engineers.
Dutson scored her 4th of the season in the 56th minute with an unassisted tally to double the lead en route to the 2-0 final.
