Falcons Selected to Participate in ECAC NE Tournament
DANBURY, Conn. – Fitchburg State University has been selected to participate in the 2015 ECAC New England Men's Basketball Championship. The tournament, which features a four-team field, will be played this coming weekend at Newman Gymnasium on the campus of Husson University in Bangor, Maine.
The Mountaineers of Southern Vermont College will open things up against fourth-seeded Anna Maria College (14-12, 12-6) on Saturday at 5 p.m., while second-seeded Husson University (20-7, 14-4) will take on third-seeded Fitchburg State (15-12, 6-6) at 3 p.m. The winners will then meet in the championship game on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
