Bell Named as MASCAC Player of the Week

FITCHBURG, Mass. - Fitchburg State junior guard Jaleel Bell (Dorchester, Mass.) has been named as the Massachusetts Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending on February 21^st.

Bell averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, four steals and three assists while shooting 61 percent (17-28) from the field in a 2-0 week for the Falcons.

He tallied 30 points, five rebounds, six steals and four assists in the 96-77 win over Salem State and 19 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in the 60-53 win over Framingham State to help the Falcons clinch a share of the MASCAC Regular-Season Title and the top seed in the MASCAC Tournament.
