Men's Basketball Falls Short to Raiders

NASHUA, NH: The Fitchburg State men's basketball team fell to the Raiders of Rivier University this evening in non-conference action.  

THE BASICS:

- Score: Rivier 77, Fitchburg 61

- Records: Rivier (2-1), Fitchburg (0-4)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders were paced by O'Darius Cade, who finished with a game-high 26 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Devin Owens contributed another 17 points and pulled down five more boards. Nikolas Pignone added another 14 points and seven rebounds.

- The Falcons offense was topped by Matthew Drayton (Boston, MA), who finished with 15 points and two steals. Frederick Siayor (Worcester, MA) added another ten points for Fitchburg, along with five rebounds.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shooting %: Rivier 40%, 3-PT 33.3%, FT 81.3%. Fitchburg 40%, 3-PT 18.8%, FT 60%

-  Rebounds: Fitchburg 37, Rivier 37
