Men's Basketball Falls Short to Regis
WESTON, MA: Fitchburg State men's basketball suffered a non-conference loss to the Pride of Regis College this evening.
THE BASICS:

- Records: Regis (5-3), Fitchburg (1-9)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Pride gained control of this one early and held on throughout the contest. Playing a key role in Regis' success were Aamyr Sullivan and Russell Rau, who combined for 46 of the team's 79 points. Sullivan led the way with a 24-point performance, with Rau finishing just behind him with 22 points. Jamir Harvey also helped, finishing with ten points and ten rebounds for the double-double.
- The Falcons, although having a good shooting day, going 25-60 (41.7%) from the floor, couldn't match the Pride's three-point shooting. Fitchburg hit six threes compared to Regis' 11. Kamau Franks (Converse, TX) was the top three-point shooter, hitting 3-5 and ending the night with a team-high 15 points. Matthew Drayton (Boston, MA) was just behind him with 14 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Jalen Jackson (San Antonio, TX) rounded out the top scorers for the Falcons with 12 points and five rebounds.
